Earlier this month on June 19th 2023, delegates from GPTech from staff and members were invited to attend a company visit from SLB, which is a technology company focusing on energy innovations while also achieving balance for the planet Earth. SLB focuses on the oil and gas industry, helping various people to obtain energy while keeping emissions low as one of the aims in reaching net zero emission. Participants of the company visit are educated regarding various technologies implemented inside the industry and also explaining SLB’s contributions of environmental sustainability and maximising efficiency. Lastly, the company visit was closed with an onsite visit of the whole factory and exchanging tokens of appreciation between the company and the GPTech group.
