About Our Lab
Green Polymer Laboratory is a part of the Metallurgy and Materials Engineering department of Universitas Indonesia. GPTech-Lab fosters a creative and innovative mindset to pursue novel and holistic approaches towards creating solutions for Indonesia’s polymer issues, through synthesizing environmentally friendly polymers. This includes advocating the practical use of polymer manufacturing processes as a means to industrialize green polymers.
What do we do?
GPTech-Lab is intensively and creatively engaged in developing innovating solutions through our research expertise on fields such as but not limited to micofribril cellulose, natural fibers, mould modelling, the application of polymer waste in asphalt, as well as membrance fuel cells under the provision of Dr. Mochamad Chalid, S.Si., M.Sc. GPTech-Lab envisions establishing a more sustainable and greener polymer industry in Indonesia.
